Title sequence is something I've always wanted to explore. The idea of utilizing conceptual visuals and sound to establish the setting and tone of the show is a great way to recharge my creative battery.

The Process
Storyboard
The storyboard stem from the most notable, and impactful part of the series. Having to align with the overall tone of the show, films, music, Albuquerque and colour, makes it the most enjoyable process.
Colour Scheme
The use of colours are significant to Breaking Bad, it is used to tell a story.
The colour scheme relies heavily on that colour of each defining character has worn in the series.

Styleframes
Using a mix of illustration and integrating textures to emulate the gritty Neo-Western genre to the video. Parts of the sequence, which also owes a stylistic debt in particular to the title design of Saul Bass - his use of simple, geometric shapes and symbolism, to create a casual look, yet packed with a sophisticated message.
